I have always known that I wanted to do something that made a difference for people, and I just related well to the caregiver concept. My personal experience with my parents has also made me realize that freedom and independence are very dear to mankind, no matter what a person’s age, race, or gender may be. I want to help individuals maintain their independence, so they can go about living their lives in the way they want. To accomplish both of these goals, I decided to own and operate my own Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care branch in my hometown of Glendale, Arizona. Having worked and lived overseas including Iraq and Afghanistan I was able to visit many different countries. I found they had a real sense of community and this is the culture that I bring into this business.
On Saturday July 5, 2014 my dear Mom passed away at the age of 94. She was a great lady and very brave. She was holding my Dad’s hand at the end and gave one last smile before passing away. She had Alzheimer’s and was getting worse. This might have been the best for her before she forgot everybody. She had a great life and traveled throughout the world. I hope she has joined my twin brother Dan in a better place.
This is my first post on my new improved Website. I still have the link to the old Image Dream. My new site though is going to be far more improved. I need to learn Word Press. I’m going to put lots of Multi-Media stuff on this new and improved site. There is lots of new things going on in my life. I’m starting a franchise which details will come later. I’m hoping to help out the Veteran’s in a great way. Here in Arizona The VA hospital is so screwed up.
As I predicted when I was over in Iraq, it was going to go back to the terrorists. When Sadam was in control, even though he was a brutal dictator, he kept his country under control. Now with ISIS it’s total madness. I feel for the people of Iraq. What a waste of time, money and the many soldiers that were killed for nothing. We invaded the wrong country. We should have put all our efforts into Afghanistan and left Iraq alone.
